The Max-Scheler-Gesellschaft is organizing the International Conference:

Ordo amoris and World-openness. Philosophy of Emotion and Individuation of Person, May 27-30, 2015, in Verona

Call for Papers

Young scholars who are writing, or have written, their PhD dissertation about Max Scheler are invited to submit an abstract on a chosen topic regarding Max Scheler (in English or in German) to the organizing board. The abstract should contain no more than 1500 characters. Please send submissions, with a short curriculum attached, to the president of the Max-Scheler-Gesellschaft (guido.cusinato@univr.it) by February 15, 2015. The authors of the selected abstracts will be requested to send a paper containing no more than 25.000 characters in German or in English, by April 30, 2015. These papers will be presented during the conference, in the morning of Saturday May 30. After due revision, the papers will be published together with the conference proceedings, which will be released in December 2015.

The Max-Scheler-Gesellschaft will bear the cost of accommodation for the winning candidates who will ask for it and won’t receive any financial support from their universities.
